Anderson Quits as GB Bobsleigh Coach

GB Bobsleigh Performance Director Gary Anderson said he was ‘proud of what has been achieved’ after he confirmed he would not be returning to his position following time away for personal reasons.

The British Bobsleigh & Skeleton Association (BBSA) announced the decision as Anderson felt he needed to devote more time to his family and to his health. The BBSA thanked him for leaving the GB Bobsleigh team in a great position to compete for a first senior Olympic medal since 1998.

“I know that this current squad of athletes can deliver an Olympic medal. I now look forward to being Team GB’s number one fan in February 2018,” said Anderson.
